Eastward Capital Partners and its predecessor CommVest have made over 125 investments representing approximately $300 million in total capital. Eastward Capital focuses on companies in the technology space that have been sponsored by leading venture capital firms.

Mr. Cameron and Mr. Alpert have known and worked together for over 12 years since initially meeting in the early 1990’s. After working together, Mr. Cameron and Mr. Alpert both founded firms that work with top-tier venture capital firms. Mr. Cameron founded CommVest and Mr. Alpert was a co-founder and Managing Director at both Ironside Ventures and MF Private Capital. In addition to the experience of the Managing Directors, the other investment professionals add 25 years of additional experience in investment banking, venture debt and technologies industries.

Over the previous 15 years, the professionals at Eastward have assisted the management teams of their portfolio companies in managing their growth and eventual exit strategy. Some Eastward investments such as PSI, NOPT, Rocky Mountain Internet, Airvana, Infinera and BigBand have taken advantage of public markets to realize value for their investors. Other investments such as Qtera, @stake, dynamicsoft, Purisma, Diligent, Reconnex and Centive have been acquired by leading firms in their industries. As active participants in many of these transactions, Eastward has the experience and vision to provide value to the portfolio company’s management team.
